Helen W. Cornell is Chairman and CEO of Owensboro Grain Company, a Kentucky-based, fifth-generation, family-owned soy processor. Ms. Cornell has served on the Board of Directors for Owensboro Grain for over 25 years and also serves on the boards of two other corporations and the Board of Trustees of Brescia University. Ms. Cornell retired in 2010 as the Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Officer of Gardner Denver, Inc. She joined Gardner Denver, a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered products for industrial, medical and petroleum applications, in 1988 as the manager of financial planning and analysis and served as an officer of the company from 1994 until her retirement. Ms. Cornell is a C.P.A. and holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Kentucky and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
