The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board has appointed University of Kentucky MBA alum Elizabeth Woodward as chair of the board for 2020, which is the governing body for Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport.

The Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents named University of Kentucky MBA and Gatton College of Business and Economics alum Dr. David McFaddin the interim president of Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) and will assume his leadership duties January 6th, 2020. Before being named interim president, Dr. McFaddin was the senior vice president for operations and strategic initiatives at EKU.

Kentucky Volleyball middle blocker Leah Meyer was named a 2019 First Team CoSIDA Academic All-American, becoming the second UK player ever to be named a first teamer, joining Morgan Bergren in 2015.
