Dept of Management earned ranking of #36 in U.S. for Research Productivity

The Department of Management at the Gatton College of Business and Economics earned an overall national rank of 36th in the Texas A&M/University of Georgia Rankings of Management Research Productivity Rankings for 2021. When taking the number of faculty members into account -- publications per capita -- the Department of Management ranked 24th.

The TAMUGA Rankings track productivity in eight top-tier journals in Management: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organization Science, Personnel Psychology, and Strategic Management Journal.

“My colleagues and I are thrilled with these recent rankings. But, given the talent, work ethic, and collegiality among members of the Department of Management faculty, achieving these recent rankings – and our steady rise in them -- ought not surprise anyone. We’ve been punching above our weight for many years now,” said Wally Ferrier, Management Professor and Department chair.
