Our nationally ranked full-time, accelerated One Year MBA option is an immersive, cross-disciplinary, hands-on experience designed for recent graduates, young professionals, military and emerging leaders across all academic backgrounds. The program's curriculum incorporates a diverse mix of core business courses, electives, professional workshops and career support to help candidates become well-rounded and nimble. This program attracts academic backgrounds in engineering, communications, STEM, health sciences, agriculture, arts and sciences, as well as business. The experience includes highly interactive, experiential courses situated in the corporate settings through the built-in internship program called Project Connect. Admissions & Preparatory Courses
Submitted applications are considered on a rolling admissions cycle, so it's strongly recommended to apply early. All applications received by the scholarship deadline are automatically considered for general scholarship awards. All scholarships will be based on information collected through the admissions application (no separate scholarship application is required). Project Connect Internship
The cornerstone of the One Year MBA is the unique internship program called Project Connect. For 32 weeks, student teams are paired with companies to work on projects of importance to the companies. These projects focus on core business processes such as: data analysis, marketing research, growth strategies, supply chain management, logistics and operations.
Certifications & Concentration
During the course of the year, MBA students at the University of Kentucky will have the opportunity to earn value-added professional certifications in Project Management, Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and Global Commerce and Strategy. Candidates also have the opportunity to take entrepreneurship electives or obtain the full concentration in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation.

One Year MBA, a redefining business education experience.
The full-time, accelerated One Year MBA program is shorter and more immersive than most comparable programs. Positioned for both business and non-business majors, the cross-disciplinary curriculum includes classes in marketing, management, and finance; as well as more technical business courses such as quantitative analysis, operations management (supply chain), marketing research, global management, and data analysis. Students will also obtain valuable soft skills in areas of critical thinking, negotiations, presentations, communications and problem-solving. Tuition will be billed in the following manner.

Students who withdraw from the program are subject to the Fee Liability Policy as stated on the University of Kentucky Registrar's page. The University Fee Liability Policy is published in the Schedule of Classes and the University Bulletin. Under this policy, students who officially withdraw from the University by canceling his or her registration via myUK or in writing through the Registrar’s Office or withdraws from a course before the first day of the semester as designated in the official University Calendar is entitled to a full refund of registration fees paid or to cancellation of the amount owed for the term.

Kentucky Scholars Program
The Gatton College of Business and Economics selects qualified students to receive Kentucky Scholars Awards, which are funded by a variety of private endowments. All accepted students and majors into the UK MBA are eligible for this scholarship consideration. These scholarships are limited, and are determined by the MBA Admissions Committee based on the overall competitiveness of a candidate’s application, including GMAT/GRE scores and undergraduate academic achievement. Applicants are encouraged to apply by the first priority scholarship deadline which is January15th. Scholarships can be considered by the MBA Admissions Committee up until the final scholarship deadline which is April 1st (if funds are still available). After April 1st, completed files can still be considered for scholarships (if funds are still available).
University of Kentucky Alumni Scholarships
The University of Kentucky's Alumni Association is pleased to provide financial support to undergraduate and graduate students attending the University of Kentucky. During 2017-2018, the UK Alumni Association and Alumni Clubs provided over 150 students with scholarships, ranging from $500 - $2,500.
