In the fall of 2024, the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics will host the Midwest Econometrics Group (MEG) Conference. The conference will begin at 12:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, and conclude in the afternoon on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The department will also host a mentoring workshop for junior female economists as part of the conference on November 1st. Resources for completing paper submission, registration, and lodging reservations are below. Deadline to submit papers is August 25th.

Elena Manresa, New York University
Elena Manresa is Associate Professor of Economics at NYU. Her research is in the area of microeconometrics, where she has pioneered the use of machine learning tools such as k-means clustering or generative adversarial estimation in economics.
Mentoring Workshop
The Department of Economics at the University of Kentucky will host a mentoring workshop for women in economics Friday, November 1st. (Details coming soon)

Upper St, Lexington, KY 40508 and is accessible from both Upper Street and S. Limestone Street. We will have parking vouchers for you during the meeting.
