Kentucky Nonprofit Network Elects Marian Guinn to Board of Directors

The Kentucky Nonprofit Network (KNN), Kentucky's state association of nonprofit organizations, recently elected Gatton College of Business and Economics alum, Marian Guinn ('84 and '86), to their Board of Directors. Marian is a resident of Lexington and is an experienced leader with a successful history of working in nonprofits, professional coaching and consulting industry.

Prior to establishing MG Coaching & Consulting, Marian's nonprofit career included experience at the University of Kentucky Hospital and more recently as CEO of God’s Pantry Food Bank, where she successfully led the food bank through multimillion-dollar campaigns, building projects and significant program growth.

Marian has been recognized as one of Central Kentucky’s most influential leaders by the Lexington Herald-Leader. She was also inducted into the Gatton College of Business Hall of Fame and received the Kentucky Nonprofit Network’s Distinguished Nonprofit Leadership Award. She was a founding board member of KNN, served as chair for five years and returns to the board after a one-year hiatus.

She obtained post graduate certification in Executive Coaching from the College of Executive Coaching and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and BBA in Marketing from the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics. She also served on the UK MBA's Advisory Board for several years.

The Kentucky Nonprofit Network is the Commonwealth of Kentucky's state association of nonprofits. Founded in 2002, KNN exists to strengthen and advance the state's nonprofit organizations because nonprofits are essential to vibrant communities. KNN's full Board of Directors can be found here.
