The One Year MBA program at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics would like to recognize Alltech, Inc. for their continuous support of experiential learning through the built-in internship experience called Project Connect. For 32 weeks, One Year MBA student teams are paired with companies to work on projects of importance to their corporation or organization. These projects focus on core business processes such as: data analysis, marketing, research, growth strategy, supply chain management, logistics and operations.

“We’re extremely fortunate to have a partner like Alltech that invests it’s time and resources to provide great projects for our MBA candidate, as well as sponsors that help guide and mentor our students through their projects," says Karl Gustafson, Lecturer and Project Connect Leader at the Gatton College of Business and Economics. "Over the years, Alltech has always provided projects that are both important and impactful for its business. More importantly, our students gain tremendous experience by applying what they are learning in class to real project projects while receiving mentorship from their company sponsors."

Gatton is very appreciative of Alltech’s leadership team for supporting the UK MBA program and Project Connect over the years. We would like to give special recognition to Suniti Mujumdar, Manager of Educational Engagement at Alltech, for her stewardship of Project Connect over the recent years. Suniti is also a member of the UK MBA Advisory Council, which is comprised of a group of professionals that are vested in advancing the overall quality of the UK MBA program.

"Part of Alltech's mission is to support and facilitate experiential learning in higher education," says Suniti Mujumdar. "Our support with Project Connect further helps us fulfill our mission at Alltech while gaining the benefit of receiving valuable project solutions from the UK MBA student teams."
