UK MBA announces official 2018/19 Project Connect internship companies and sponsors

The University of Kentucky's One Year MBA program at the Gatton College of Business and Economics is excited to announce the official 2018/19 Project Connect internship companies and corporate sponsors. In Project Connect, UK MBA student teams are paired with companies to work on projects of importance to their corporation or organization. The UK MBA program would like to thank the following companies for their participation and partnership this year:

"We are very thankful to have another great group of companies, as well as project sponsors, participating in this year's Project Connect internship program," said Karl Gustafson, Lecturer and Project Connect Leader of the University of the Kentucky MBA programs. "For our sponsors, they receive valuable research and impactful recommendations from our MBA candidates. For our MBA candidates, they are able to hone their skills through applying what they are learning in class to real-world projects while improving their teaming and management skills along with valuable mentorship."

In Project Connect, the projects focus on core business processes such as data analysis, marketing, research, growth strategy, supply chain management, logistics and operations. Participating in Project Connect happens simultaneously with the student’s coursework, providing them with a unique internship opportunity to apply what they are learning with real-time projects. Student teams devote 70- 80 hours per person per project, working with the company to address issues and develop strategies.

For companies and organizations interested in becoming a company sponsor of Project Connect, please contact Karl Gustafson, University of Kentucky MBA Lecturer and Project Connect Leader at the Gatton College of Business and Economics.
