The Gatton College of Business and Economics proudly acknowledges Frank C. Parker III and Deborah Burden as recipients of the 2024 Lyman T. Johnson Awards. The awards were presented at the 33rd annual Lyman T. Johnson Awards Luncheon hosted by the University of Kentucky Alumni Association and the UK Office for Community Relations. The luncheon took place on October 11, 2024, at the Gatton Student Center Grand Ballroom.

Lexington, KY – The University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics proudly hosted its very first Gatton Global Week from September 16-19, 2024, emphasizing its mission to prepare principled leaders for the global economy. The week was packed with events aimed at encouraging students to study abroad and broaden their international experiences, fulfilling Gatton College's commitment to shaping future global business leaders.

Eleanor Krause received a competitive Early Career Grant from the Washington Center for Equitable Growth (WCEG). According to the WCEG, these grants are "targeted at those early in their careers whose research is policy-relevant and can inform how policymakers can take action to create more stable, broadly shared U.S.
Stephen Lusch has been appointed as an editor at Accounting Horizons. Effective June 1, 2024, Lusch will serve a 3-year term. Accounting Horizons is one of three association-wide journals of the American Accounting Association and is the second most downloaded journal of the AAA's family of seventeen journals.
