David Sovich PhD

Ashland Oil Fellow, Assistant Professor

David Sovich is an assistant professor of finance at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on empricial household and corporate finance. David's research has been published in The Review of Financial Studies, and has been cited in policy discussions by the Congressional Budget Office, The New Yorker, Fox Business, and the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Prior to joining the University of Kentucky, David worked at Washington University in St. Louis as an instructor and a post-doctoral researcher. He also previously worked at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) as an associate on the real-return portfolio management team, and he currently works with Equifax Inc. as an affiliated researcher. David holds a Ph.D. in finance from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. from the University of Nevada-Reno.
