Samuel Zaruba

Samuel Zaruba S. is a faculty member in the Douglas J. Von Allmen School of Accountancy and the Center for Data Analytics at the Gatton College of Business and Economics, University of Kentucky. His PhD research is from the University of Nevada with interdisciplinary researchers at their Center for Cybersecurity. He has publications in academic journals such as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) journal focused on Governance, Policy, Artificial Intelligence, IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity and Auditing. He has taught university coursework at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has spent a decade consulting and working with technology organizations, financial organizations, healthcare organizations, public energy utilities, various US government organizations including the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and members of the Fortune 500 including Microsoft, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Bank of America, AT&T, Amazon Web Services and more. He holds a master's degree from the College of Business and Information Accounting Systems and an undergraduate degree in Economics.
