Luis Abreu PhD
Assistant Professor
Luis Abreu is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Gatton College of Business and Economics, University of Kentucky. His research examines how consumers perceive and respond to failures. In a second area of study, he investigates consumer-brand relationships and explores the impact of conversational A.I. technologies on these relationships and, more broadly, on consumer behavior. His work has been published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
Luis received his B.S. and M.A. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico), an MBA from Brigham Young University, and his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from Duke University.
