The Gatton College of Business and Economics, in collaboration with the John Maze Stewart Department of Finance, hosted the third annual Women in Finance Summit, drawing together over 100 students who gathered to network and acquire industry insights from accomplished Gatton alumnae in the finance industry.

The summit commenced with a Distinguished Alumnae Panel, moderated by Danielle Terhune of Amazon, featuring Laura Boison, Market President at Truist, and Alicia Reitano, Head of US Customer Operations Group at DHL. The panel addressed a range of topics, sharing their experiences and expertise with the audience.

Following the Distinguished Alumnae Panel, a second Careers in Finance Panel took place, moderated by Katie Smothers from Edison Energy. The panelists included Jillian Bowman (Deloitte), Caroline Corley (J.P. Morgan), Paige Dauparus (PWC), and Allie Petersen (Trek), offering diverse perspectives on career paths within the finance industry.

The highlight of the afternoon was the awarding of $35,000 in scholarship prizes. Seven outstanding students were selected by a committee based on their submitted essays, each receiving a $5,000 scholarship. The scholarship recipients are:
