Judith Lynn Milburn Haywood served as administrative staff officer for the Gatton College of Business and Economics. Her career has spanned the tenure of four of the college’s deans, and her contributions to the college and university have been extensive. Her university service was recognized in 1995 with the Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Professional Staff. She became a University Fellow in 1989 by endowing a scholarship honoring her husband, former Gatton College Dean Charles Haywood. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business and management honorary. Haywood has long been an active advocate for the university's and college's staff. The Judith Milburn Haywood Staff Award, which she established in 2002, annually recognizes Gatton College staff members for their outstanding work.
