University of Kentucky MBA program welcomes all students, young professionals and emerging leaders across all academic majors and backgrounds in Kentucky (and beyond) to their One Year MBA Open House event on Thursday, February 6th at 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gatton College of Business and Economics to learn more about the full-time, One Year MBA and applicable dual degree programs. The highlight of the event will be the Alumni Spotlight conversation which will feature successful alumni of the UK MBA program who will speak about their positive experiences in the program, how the UK MBA has helped shaped their careers and offer advice to the candidates in the audience. The UK MBA spotlight speakers will include:
- Adrienne (Cates) Duvall, Sourcing Agent at East Kentucky Power Cooperative
- Sean Chandler, Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Humana
- Richelle Meyers, Chief Operating Officer at Habitat for Humanity (Hardin County)
- Brett Seymore, Financial Analyst at Churchill Downs, Inc.
Candidates will be able to learn more about the value of the UK MBA program which includes the built-in internship experience called Project Connect, career/alumni outcomes, team competitions, professional certifications, the new Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation concentration and much more. At the event, prospective candidates will also be to interact with current students, faculty, staff and alumni of the program while learning valuable information about the admissions process, scholarships and how to be a competitive applicant for the upcoming 2020 cohort or future classes.
