Josh Ackerman
Adjunct Professor
I joined the Gatton College of Business in 2019 as an Adjunct in the Certified Financial Planner Certificate Program. I have been in the financial services industry since 2006. I earned my Certified Financial Planning designation in 2009. Prior to starting in financial services, I worked for 9 years at Lexmark, doing supply chain and sales activities.
I graduated from Macalester College in 1993 and earned a Master’s Degree from the Patterson School of Commerce and International Diplomacy here at UK.
I am currently a Partner in Context Financial, a Financial Life Planning firm here in Lexington.
