Shawn Stewart
Academic Advisor

Shawn Stewart is a native of East Tennessee. Prior to moving to Lexington to work at UK, he worked in a combination of college access and higher education positions for almost a decade. As an Academic Advisor in Gatton, he is responsible for overseeing students’ graduation plans and helping them connect to campus resources. He enjoys meeting students and assisting them with navigating their collegiate process. Shawn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from East Tennessee State University, and his Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the same institution. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, and likes to travel and spend time with friends and family.
