Michelle Aiello ("eye-EL-oh") earned a BA in Secondary English Education from DePaul University in Chicago. She has more than a decade of experience as a copywriter, editor and journalist, and has worked in a wide variety of industries. As Content Manager for the Gatton College, she produces and edits a wide variety of media, including alumni and research stories, social media campaigns, video concepts, web content and print material.
Prior to Gatton, she worked as a copywriter and UX designer for Lexmark and for the Lexington Herald-Leader as the editor of skirt! Magazine. She has extensive journalism experience in Lexington, and regularly wrote articles for Business Lexington, Chevy Chaser, Southsider, TOPS in Lex, Kentucky for Kentucky and other media outlets. Michelle is also the founder and Executive Director of the Kentucky Fried Zine Fest, an annual expo for small, independent publishers.
Michelle's other interests include DIY home projects, interior design, shopping for vintage treasures, wardrobe styling, photography, and music.
