This certificate course is designed to educate students on the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) process and associated tool sets. The Gatton College partners with the LeanCor Supply Chain Group, a trusted supply chain partner with a mission to advance the world’s supply chains. LeanCor’s three integrated divisions – LeanCor Training and Education, LeanCor Consulting, and LeanCor Logistics – specialize in Lean and Six Sigma principles that help organizations eliminate waste, drive down costs, and build operational excellence into their supply chains.
This workshop is designed to educate students on the three P’s of project management: Purpose, Process, and People. The training methodology includes a mix of instruction and application to real world case studies. However, we do strongly recommend that candidates consider some additional preparation before taking the exam and should refer to PMI's CAPM page for additional resources.
