JD/MBA

A Dual Degree between UK's J. David Rosenberg College of Law and Gatton College of Business and Economics

The University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics and the J. David Rosenberg College of Law offers you the opportunity to obtain the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Juris Doctor (JD) in a specialized dual degree program. Because both schools recognize that some aspects of business and law are compatible and interrelated, you can obtain both degrees in three years instead of the four to five years required if the degrees were pursued separately. With the JD/MBA, you will be able to open doors to specialized employment opportunities, gain marketable skills in less time and with a smaller financial investment. Admissions & Preparatory Courses

Candidates interested in the JD/MBA program must apply independently to both colleges and meet the admission requirements of each. Current first-year law students at the University of Kentucky's J. David Rosenberg College of Law are eligible only if no more than one full-time semester has been completed. Make sure to review the J. David Rosenberg College of Law website for any new updates or information. Before applying into the MBA program, please review the Admissions Requirements, MBA Preparatory Courses, GMAT/GRE Waiver Policy and FAQ's.
