Sohee Kim is a 4th-year doctoral student at the Von Allmen School of Accountancy. Sohee's research interests include various topics in accounting information systems and management accounting area. Before joining the doctoral program, Sohee earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and e-commerce (dual degree) from Ewha Womans University and a Master of Accounting from the University of Oregon. She is a certified information systems auditor (CISA) and serves as a CISA certification exam question writer. she has many years of experience in IT auditing and audit system development, having worked as a consultant at Protiviti and PricewaterhouseCoopers, a senior internal auditor at AXA, and an IT internal auditor at TrueBlue, Inc (NYSE: TBI). She teaches data analytics and accounting information systems and she enjoys bringing her work experience to her classroom. Outside of academia, she enjoys exploring nature, cooking, reading, and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
