Evisa Bogdani is a Ph.D. candidate at the Von Allmen School of Accountancy. She received her Master’s degree in accounting from Charles Sturt University in Melbourne, Australia.
Evisa’s research interests are mainly in auditing and financial accounting using archival methods. Specifically, she is interested in examining the role of intermediaries and disclosure in emerging new financial markets such as equity crowdfunding as well as data analytics diffusion and their role in auditing. Evisa’s research has been cited by the Securities Exchange Commission and is published in The Accounting Review.
Before starting the Ph.D., Evisa worked as an adjunct professor at the Alexander Moisiu University, teaching Financial Accounting and Cost & Managerial Accounting. At the University of Kentucky, she taught Financial Accounting and Data Analytics & AIS. Evisa also has experience as a tax accountant, financial accountant, and internal auditor in private companies.
