Bio
I am Gavaskar Thavarajah. I am a current MSF student. I finished my Bachelors' from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in Liberal Arts, that covered economics, accounting and marketing, management and HRM. Continuously I have completed my Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University- United Kingdom which is having an affiliated study center in Colombo Sri Lanka.
I have worked for a bank named Hatton National Bank PLC which is a best bank in Sri Lanka for almost 10 years, and when I resigned from HNB I have been a Branch Operations Manager which has come through from my basic level as a Personal BankerI. After I moved to the US last September, I have worked for Amazon for 3 months and I joined with UK Healthcare as a Patient Safety Technician and continuing in the same position.
I am following this MSF program from Gatton College to start my career in finance related works in the USA. Mainly I have interest in investment banking or either corporate finance positions.
