Warren W. Rosenthal is the former chairman of Jerrico, Inc., a restaurant group whose most successful chain is Long John Silver’s. He joined Jerrico in 1948 when it consisted of two five-cent hamburger stands and one small sandwich shop. From these three restaurants, he guided Jerrico, Inc. to going public in 1969 and to its 1989 status of more than 1,400 Long John Silver's restaurants and more than 60 Jerry's restaurants. Mr. Rosenthal is a member of the board of directors of Kentucky Energy Corporation, Transylvania University, Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, Child Development Center of the Bluegrass, Child Abuse Council and others.
