Roger D. McDaniel is the former president and CEO of MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. MEMC is the world's second largest producer of silicon wafers. The company and its affiliates operate 12 manufacturing facilities around the globe, employing more than 7,500 people. He has has served as a member of the board of directors, and chairman, of SEMI, an international industry association of material and equipment manufacturers serving the semiconductor industry. He has also served as a board member for United Way of Santa Clara County, Greely Community Center and Integrated Process Equipment Corporation.
