Douglas D. Tough is the chairman and CEO (ret.) of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., a major producer of flavors and fragrances that has facilities in 29 different countries. Mr. Tough also served as the CEO and managing director of Ansell Limited, a $1.1 billion global leader in healthcare barrier protection. Prior to joining Ansell, he had a 17-year career with Cadbury Schweppes PLC. In 2000, he was named president and CEO of Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. He has been a member of IFF’s Board of Directors since October 2008. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
