Join us Saturday, April 13th, 2019 for the 24th annual Economics Teaching Workshop at the University of Kentucky in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky.
Our keynote speakers, Josh Angrist from MIT will present “Undergraduate Econometrics Instruction: Through Our Classes, Darkly,” Barbara Oakley from the Oakland University will present “Learning How to Learn: Powerful Mental Tools to Help You Master Tough Subjects,” and Bill Goffe from Pennsylvania State University will present “How to Use Results from the Science of Learning in Your Classroom.”
Sponsors include the UK Department of Economics, the Carol Martin Gatton College of Business and Marginal Revolution University. A publishers’ book exhibit will also be available with additional sponsors. To offset some of the costs, there is a registration fee of $35. The deadline for registration is March 29th.
