Teague is an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about helping students to reach their aspirations in a supportive and authentic learning environment. In addition to his current role as an academic advisor, teaches UK 101 and facilitates projects related to student leadership development, college internationalization, and team dynamics. Prior to his current position, worked for 5+ years as an education abroad advisor. In this role, he collaborated extensively with university and external constituents to develop and implement education abroad programs. He also created an academic-oriented, ongoing student orientation curriculum, as well as frequently presented to regional and national audiences on topics related to international education. studied French Language and Literature as an undergraduate at North Carolina State University and holds a MS in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In his spare time, is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Evaluation, with certificates in International Education and Research Methods. His current research interests center around global student mobility and organizational and administrative issues impacting international student support.
