The University of Kentucky in partnership with the University of West Attica, formerly Technological Education Institute of Piraeus (TEI of Piraeus), delivers the University of Kentucky's MBA program in Athens, Greece. This is a state higher education institution which operates within the framework of Law 2916/2001, and its recognition is published in the Government Gazette, 738 Gov. T.V/ 18.05.2004.
The University of Kentucky, in cooperation with the University of West Attica (formerly known has Piraeus Technological Higher Education Institution), delivers a Master in Business Administration program experience in Greece. This program is currently in its 15th year of successful operation and is the only recognized American MBA in Greece. The University of Kentucky MBA in Greece is unique opportunity for graduates from the Greek Universities and Technological Universities (Universities and Technological Educational Institutions) to participate in courses taught by both professors from the Greek Higher Educational Institutions and the University of Kentucky, who are being trained by professors in Greece specifically for the needs of the program.
The lessons are taught consecutively (per month) in three academic semesters (full time) or six academic semesters (part time) and the language of instruction is English. The curriculum is designed to be accessible to those who live in cities near Athens and to workers. Graduates gain a significant advantage entering their careers, especially with multinational enterprises operating in Greece. In addition, graduates of the program may continue their studies for a PhD domestically or abroad.
