The University of Kentucky, in partnership with the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus (TEI of Piraeus), delivers the University of Kentucky's Gatton MBA program in TEI's facilities in Athens, Greece. TEI of Piraeus is a state higher education institution. The program is officially recognized, operates within the framework of Law 2916/2001, and its recognition is published in the Government Gazette, 738 Gov. T.V/ 18.05.2004.
This full time MBA program lasts 18 months (three semesters). Courses take place in the evening in the facilities of TEI Piraeus in Athens. The program is taught entirely in English where 50% of the instruction is delivered by University of Kentucky faculty members and the remaining 50% of the instruction is delivered by professors of Greek universities whose credentials have been qualified by the University of Kentucky. The degree is awarded by the University of Kentucky and is similar to that of the Professional MBA track taught on the Lexington, Kentucky, campus.
