The University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics is hosting a One Year MBA Open House event, highlighting the One Year MBA program and the different MBA dual degree options. Young professionals along with all students, academic majors from the University of Kentucky and other institutions are invited to attend. Space is limited.

Korey ColyerKorey Colyer
Vice President at R.J. Corman Railroad Group

Korey Colyer joined R. J. Corman, headquartered in Nicholasville, Kentucky, in 2008 as an Administrative Assistant and now is the Vice President of Finance and Administration. After three years in our Shops & Buildings Department, Korey took on significant responsibility in the strategic development and initiatives of all R. J. Corman companies. He currently is responsible for the management of the Finance Department and Shops & Buildings for R. J. Corman Railroad Group. Korey holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Transylvania University and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics.

Angela OwensAngela Owens
Product Research Scientist at J.M. Smucker Company 

Angela Owens has been with J.M. Smucker Company since 2011 and is currently a Product Research Scientist at their Lexington location. Angela previously worked at Sojo Studios as a Business Development Consultant. Angela was involved in many school activities and societies including: National Society of Collegiate Scholars Member, Students Educating and Empowering to Develop Safety Member, Violence Intervention and Prevention Volunteer, & Delta Epsilon Iota Member. She also received the following awards and scholarships: Belmore Endowment, Deans Endowment, and the EON U.S. Academic Scholarship. Angela received her MBA from the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics and Bachelor's in Economics and Psychology from the University of Kentucky with Summa Cum Laude honors.

Pooja TalaulikerPooja Talauliker
Senior Project Manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions 

Pooja has been with Catalent Pharma Solutions since 2012 and is currently their Senior Project Manager. Previously, she was an adjunct instructor at KCTCS teaching anatomy and physiology. Pooja has a variety of different experiences, including: Secretary for the Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society, Sub-committee Chair for the UK Medical Dean's Diversity Advisory Committee, Society for Neuroscience, Reviewer at the Journal of Experimental Neurology and Journal of Neurotrauma, Student Representative at the BMES-ERC, Science Instructor at the Translating Research to Youth through information Technology. Pooja received her Bachelor of Technology degree with Honors in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, MBA from the University of Kentucky and Doctor of Philosophy (PH.D) at the University of Kentucky's College of Medicine in the field of Anatomy and Neurobiology. 

Chris CollinsChris Collins
Assistant Trade Marketing Manager at Valvoline

Chris Collins is currently the Assistant Trade Marketing Manager at Valvoline, Inc. and their headquarters is right here in Lexington, KY. He has been with Valvoline since 2014 holding different positions as the Replenishment Manager and International Forecast Analyst. Chris has years of volunteer experience as the ESL Instructor and Citizenship Program Volunteer at the Maxwell Street Legal Clinic, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at the Central Kentucky Economic Empowerment Program, Montevideo, Uruguay at the Un Techo para mi País, Assistant Instructor at the Carnegie Literacy Center, and Interpreter at the UK Feria Salud (Hispanic Health Fair). Chris received his MBA and BA in Spanish from the University of Kentucky. Chris studied advanced Spanish at the Universidad de Belgrano and was also part of Sigma Delta Pi (University of Kentucky Spanish Honors Society) and the Alma Escondida National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
