Diversity

Diversity builds better leaders

At the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics, we believe opportunities to grow professionally are enhanced when the learning environment includes a variety of perspectives. That’s why the UK MBA program seeks to enroll students with a wide range of backgrounds along with different personal and professional experiences. The University of Kentucky and the Gatton College of Business and Economics offers a number of campus wide and college specific student organizations and groups where students can connect beyond the classroom. In addition we offer the following student support and financial resources for students, among many others:

Committment to diversity and inclusion

Our objective is to enhance the diversity and inclusivity of the University of Kentucky's campus community through recruitment and retention of an increasingly diverse population of faculty, administrators, staff and students. By implementing these initiatives, we believe this will provide richer diversity-related experiences for everyone and help ensure their success in an interconnected world. This objective will be achieved by working collaboratively to create an environment where all of our students, faculty, and staff live or work in an environment of openness and acceptance, and in which people of all backgrounds, identities, and perspectives can feel secure and welcome.
