Located on the back of the “boot heel” of Italy on the Adriatic Sea, the University of Bari Aldo Moro, or UniBA, has an idyllic location. The city of Bari is the capital of the province of Bari and of the Apulia (Puglia) region of Italy. It is second only to Naples as a Southern Italy economic center.
UniBA was founding in 1925 and is one of only 58 state universities in Italy. Today the University hosts about 60,000 students across three campuses. UniBA gets its name form its most famous alumnus, Aldo Moro, who also taught at the university for many years. There is a thriving student community on campus featuring sport activities, a choir and orchestra, and an active student government. Students studying at UniBA will enjoy both an exciting campus environment as well as a rich local community steeped in history and delicious local culinary traditions.
UniBA is a best first for students studying Marketing or Management or for those wanting to really increase their general knowledge of international business. Students should have finished at least 60 hours with a 3.0 GPA and must have completed the Gatton pre-major requirements.
