Kristine Hankins joined the University of Kentucky in 2006 after graduating with a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Florida. Her research interests include corporate finance, risk management, capital structure, and payout policy. She has published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Financial Management.
Prior to her academic career, Kristine held positions with Merrill Lynch's Private Equity Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers' Financial Securities Litigation practice, both in New York City. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Political Science and holds a M.S. in Statistics from Rutgers University.
