On the third, we decided to challenge the high-altitude logan pass. It's a entirely different experience. The trial to hidden lake was almost entirely through the snow land. Though not particularly cold, the reflection almost blinded our eyes. Because of slippery, we have to spend extra effort to balance ourselves, turning a short trail to an strenous one. It arouses a different set of sensory, therefore quite refreshing. Later of the day, we drove toward two medicine. We had our exciting encounter with two black bears. To enlarge our fun to a hundred time, there was a lovely friend, a Hoary Marmot, entertaining our hike (Pentao has a funny picture documenting the four of us creeping toward her. We actually saw her two times -- we believe they're the same one. Though we did not finish the entire hike, we had a lot of fun playing with the dramatic dead wood, more wild flowers. Mosqitoes initied an massive attack on Xun that day.
