From the Dean
As the 2011-2012 academic year is winding down, my role as dean of the Gatton College is just beginning. These first few weeks on the job have given me an even greater appreciation for this College, its faculty and staff, and you—our alumni and friends. As we are still glowing in the greatness of the BIG BLUE NATION, I’ve been amazed at the excitement and energy of our UK alumni base. These are most certainly memorable days to be a Wildcat!
I’ve already had the privilege of meeting many of you face-to-face and I’ve been impressed with our alumni. From CEOs to academicians, you are leading the way in your respective fields. As we move ahead together with renewed energy and focus, I look forward to meeting more and more of you in the coming months. Together we can propel the Gatton College even further in achieving greatness. As always, thank you for your continued support.
David W. Blackwell
