Join us Friday & Saturday, February 24 – 25, 2017 for the fifth University of Kentucky-Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Economic Conference at the University of Kentucky in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky. This year's workshop focuses on health economics, highlighting papers examining both market structure in the provision of health care and causes and consequences of health in markets. Amitabh Chandra, the Malcolm Wiener Professor of Social Policy and Director of Health Policy Research at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, will give the keynote address Friday evening.
The workshop is co-sponsored and organized by the Department of Economics in the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Previous co-sponsored conferences have examined education, income inequality, the labor market and public and urban economics.
