Paul C. Varga is CEO of Brown-Forman Corporation, which for 150 years has built internationally known beverage alcohol brands including Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Finlandia, and many others. Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Varga served as president and chief executive officer of the company’s Brown-Forman Beverages subsidiary. He began his career at Brown-Forman as a summer intern in May 1986. He was promoted to a variety of positions within the corporation, ranging from on-premise marketing to managing the Jack Daniel’s brand. He was named senior vice president, chief marketing officer in November 2000. He earned his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Kentucky and his M.B.A. from Purdue University.
