The CFO of Fazoli’s and an accomplished Gatton alum, Mr. David Hasler, will be giving a lecture to Gatton students 6pm-7:15pm on April 4 (Tuesday) in Gatton room 311. The Finance Society is hosting the event. Other student organizations are invited.

Mr. David Hasler completed the BBA degree in Finance from University of Kentucky in 1992 and the MBA degree from Xavier University in 1999. Prior to assuming the role of CFO at Fazoli’s, Mr. Hasler served the roles of Senior Director of Global Treasure, Senior Director of FP&A and International Finance, and others at Walmart in Bentonville, Arkansas since 2006. He worked as the Group Manager in Finance and served other roles in finance, accounting, and manufacturing at Proctor &Gamble between 1992 and 2001.

In addition, Mr. Hasler had the following achievements while he was a student at UK:

Mr. Hasler won the Otis A Singletary award (Outstanding Senior Male).

Mr. Hasler was President of the Student Organizations Assembly (SOA). The group used to rival the student government and was a representative body of each of the registered student groups on campus.

Mr. David Hasler initiated the Darrell VanMeter Volunteer Award with Ms. Rhonda Strouse: Mr. VanMeter participated in SOA activities and they put that award together after Mr. VanMeter passed away. The award has been presented each year since then.

Mr. Hasler was part of the inaugural group of Student Ambassadors organized by Mr. Stan Key and others.

Mr. Hasler was part of Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honary and President of Golden Key National Honor Society.
