Nate Morris will speak to FIN 300 (Corporation Finance) students on Thursday, April 20. Morris is the Founder of Morris Industries and Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Rubicon Global, the worldwide leader in cloud-based, sustainable waste and recycling services. Under his leadership, Rubicon has expanded to all 50 states and across 16 countries on 4 continents, and was recently named the Next Billion-Dollar Startup by Forbes Magazine. In 2014, Nate Morris was named to Fortune Magazine’s “40 under 40”, recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and inducted to the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. In 2013, he was honored by the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of the ten Outstanding Young Americans.. In 2016 Morris was named the first ever Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics. He is also a member of the Gatton College Dean’s Advisory Council. The guest lecture by Morris will meet 2pm-3:15pm on April 20 (Thursday) in Gatton Kinkaid Auditorium.
