Odell Guyton served for 11 years at Microsoft Corporation as Assistant General Counsel, Antitrust Compliance Officer and Director of Compliance, and is now the Managing Director for Klink & Company. He is the co-founder of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). Prior to his appointment with Microsoft, he served as the Corporate Compliance Officer for the University of Pennsylvania and for the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Mr. Guyton was an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office and a Deputy District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. He has been named one of the “100 Most Influential Persons in Business Ethics” (Ethisphere Institute ); and Attorneys Who Matter (Ethisphere Magazine [2009, 2010, 2011]).
In Mr. Guyton's former role of Corporate Vice President and Head of Global Compliance for Jabil Circuit, Inc., he developed and maintained a global compliance and investigations program that was effective in meeting and exceeding government guidance and industry practice. He is a recognized industry leader in designing, implementing and managing effective corporate compliance programs for multi-national organizations. He has a significant track record of accomplishment in the legal field and the domestic (U.S.) and international compliance and ethics field.
He studied bio-ethics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and received his Juris Doctor degree from the American University, Washington College of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In 2015 Moravian College honored him with their highest Alumni Award (the Comenius Award) and the Pennsylvania State Senate officially recognized him for his contributions to the legal and compliance fields.
