The Center for Poverty Research presents a panel discussion with Richard Rothstein, author of The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of how Our Government Segregated America. His new book details how federal, state, and local governments segregated American cities through de jure housing and lending policies, debunking the popular notion that segregation was a matter of choice by the races. Panelists include Mark Peffley, UK Professor of Political Science, and UK Law professors Melynda Price and Robert Schwemm.
