Join us as Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear speaks about consumer protection and economic regulation.

Andy Beshear was elected Kentucky’s 50th Attorney General in November of 2015. Prior to his election, Andy spent more than a decade in private practice, where he was recognized as one of the Best Lawyersin America four consecutive years. His practice focused on complex litigation, consumer and nonprofit law.

As Attorney General, Andy is committed to aggressively addressing child and drug abuse, better protecting seniors, and eliminating Kentucky’s rape kit backlog. By partnering with local, state and federal leaders, Attorney General Beshear and his dedicated and experienced staff have pledged to work tirelessly to protect all Kentuckians by serving the Commonwealth with the highest ethical standard.

Andy and his wife, Britainy, have two young children. He is the son of former Gov. Steve Beshear and former First Lady Jane Beshear. He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and his law degree from the University of Virginia.
