The DSIS faculty has a research leader in their research fields for many years. Recently the DSIS faculty of the School of Management was ranked among the top 20 in the world for research productivity in a study published by the Association for Information Systems (AIS). The study was based on research published from 1999 to 2003 in the top five information systems journals; four high-visibility, multi-discipline journals; and two prominent computer science periodicals. In total, the five-year study covers 1,592 research papers dealing with the discipline of information systems management, authored by 2,442 researchers in the field.
The collective and individual research leadership of the DSIS faculty has been recognized in many ways, including:
