Each exam comes with a free retake voucher. The voucher will be sent by the testing company, Certifport, via email directly to you. This usually occurs within 24-48 hours of original exam. If you do not receive the voucher or lose it, you can go online and retrieve it.
Go to the testing company's website (http://www.certiport.com) and log on using the same log on you use to take the exams. You should see information on the front page about exams you have taken and retake vouchers that are assigned to you.
It is your responsibility to bring that voucher with you to the retake. The voucher will be good for a period of two months. It is your responsibility to schedule a retake exam within two months of being issued. The information sent with the retake voucher will outline the official expiration date of the voucher.
Please NOTE: The registration system does not track the retake voucher time restriction. It will allow you to register for the exam outside of that two month period but the testing company will not allow you to take the exam if it has expired.
Important Note on Subsequent Retakes:
You must wait 2 weeks between your second and third attempts on any exam. The registration system does not track this mandatory rule for you. While it will allow you to register for your third attempt in that two week period, the exam system will not allow you to actually take the exam.
