Free Training Options for MOS Exams

 

MICROSOFT PREPARATION COURSE - As part of your regular tuition, students may now take a course designed to prepare them for the MOS/MCAS exams.  This course is designed to provide the student with a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Programs of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Students should enter the course with a working knowledge of these programs.  Each section meets for a total of 7 times.  You may sign up for this course during your open registration windows for Spring 2012.  For the sections that begin later in the Spring 2012 semester please contact the URC for registration procedures.  The course is listed as B&E 105 sections: 001 through 006, for 1 (one) credit hour. Please refer to the online course catalog for the starting dates of each course and the time it is offered. 

 THE STUDY - The Study on the 3rd floor of the south campus residence hall complex Commons Building offers free academic consultations designed to support students with strategies for preparing for standardized tests and course exams. During an individual consultation, a learning specialist will demonstrate effective strategies for preparing for and taking various tests/exam formats. Consultations should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance at www.uky.edu/AE

UK YOUNG LIBRARY - The Young library will have study guides on course reserve under B&E 102, B&E 103, and B&E 104. You will need to go to the course reserve desk and request the materials under these call numbers:
