The International Core
As juniors, you'll spend one semester abroad studying with students from one of our partner universities. You'll be split into two groups with one completing course at UK in the fall and our partner university in the spring, while the second group does the reverse. Students continue to pay UK tuition and room and board for this year. International courses will transfer back to UK and count towards Gatton graduation requirements. You will also earn a minor in international business as part of this year long experience.
During your junior year, you'll also begin to prepare for the transition from college to professional life by taking B&E 300: Career Development in Business and Economics, a career management course that focuses on issues surrounding job searches, life on your first job and life-long professional learning.
