Learning About Technology Together

As a Scholars in Engineering and Management (SEAM) student, you have the opportunity to live in Ingels Hall and participate in “The New Economy Incubator,” a living learning community for students interested in entrepreneurship and technology. To find our more about this opportunity, click here.

During the fall semester, you will take Technology: Blessing or Curse? - a discovery seminar that uses the acclaimed PBS series“Connections” as a blueprint to explore the surprising twists and turns that technological innovation has taken through the centuries and its impact on the very fabric of society. In the Spring semester, the focus turns to learning leadership and teamwork skills in the experientially-based, hands-on Leadership course. Additionally, you will take a special section of
Principles of Economics to learn about the foundations of business.
