MBA/JD Dual
Degree Program
The Gatton
College of Business & Economics and the College
of Law offer the opportunity to obtain the Master of Business Administration
(MBA) and Juris Doctor (JD) degrees in a dual degree program. Because
both schools recognize that some aspects of business and law are compatible
and interrelated, students can obtain both degrees in four or four and
one half years instead of the five required if the degrees were pursued
separately. As a result, students gain marketable skills and specialized
employment opportunities in less time than might otherwise be required.
Students interested
in the MBA/JD Program must apply formally and independently to both programs
and meet the admission requirements of each. Current students are eligible
only if no more than one full-time semester has been completed.

Programs with Medicine and Pharmacy
The Gatton
College of Business & Economics also offers dual degree programs with
the College of Pharmacy and the College of Medicine. Each of these programs
will require that students apply formally and independently to each program
and meet the admission requirements of each. Upon completion of both programs,
graduates will receive the MD and MBA degrees, or the Pharm.D and MBA
degrees.
