Kentucky Scholars Program
The Gatton College of Business and Economics selects qualified students to receive Kentucky Scholars Awards. These awards are funded by a variety of private endowments. These scholarships are granted for a maximum of two semesters provided the student attends full-time and maintains at least a 3.25 graduate GPA. Recipients are chosen on the basis of the GMAT or GRE scores and undergraduate academic achievement.
All application material must be received by April 1st to be considered for the Kentucky Scholars. Files complete after April 1st will be considered if funds are available.
Lyman T. Johnson Multicultural Fellowship
The Lyman T. Johnson Multicultural Fellowship is a scholarship awarded through a joint effort of the Gatton College and the Graduate School. Recipients must have a record of high undergraduate achievement and should have demonstrated leadership skills. Recipients must maintain a graduate GPA of at least 3.0 and maintain full-time status. An annual stipend up to $10,000 may be awarded to qualified candidates.

Graduate Assistantships
Academic departments, research and service centers within the Gatton College and other offices on campus have some part-time employment opportunities for graduate students. Students are required to work up to 10-20 hours per week in the sponsoring unit. The stipends and benefits vary. Interested students should contact the Gatton Centers directly to explore assistantship opportunities.
